Q: What kind of company is Kinetic?

A: Kinetic is a Luxembourgish payroll company.

Q: What is a contract management company?

A: Kinetic – acting as an intermediary on your behalf to manage your contracts, payroll, invoicing and day-to-day activities with agencies and clients.

Solutions – Payroll

Q: With whom will I have a contract?

A: You are contracted directly with the contract management company concerned. We will then sign the contracts on your behalf with the company (if you work direct) or your agency.

Q: Will you negotiate my contract with my agency?

A: No, you need to speak directly with your agency to negotiate your contract.

Q: Will you check the clauses of my contract?

A: Not only will we check your contract against the terms that have been negotiated with the agency or client but we will also check that clauses are legal and not subject to any administration issues or any risk related to termination.

Q: If I don't agree with one of your contract clauses, who should I talk to?

A: You must discuss this further with the agency.

Q: How will I know if I'm entitled to get expenses?

A: This is normally agreed with the client/agency before your contract commences.

Q: Do you need my signed contracts to process my transfers?

A: Yes, otherwise you won’t be paid.

Q: How do I proceed after my contract is signed and has started?

A: Once you have signed your contract, you can start sending your timesheets as per your contract conditions.


Q: Why do I send/fax my timesheet to you rather than to my agency?

A: In order to send an invoice to your agency, we need your timesheet, though in some cases you may be required to send your timesheet to both Kinetic and your agency.

Q: Do I have to send/fax my timesheet to you?

A: Yes as we must receive your timesheet according to your invoicing cycle (week/month). Usually, you will need to send these at the end of each invoicing period.

Q: Does the timesheet need to be signed before sending/faxing it to Kinetic?

A: Yes, in order to confirm the hours/days worked please ensure a supervisor has signed it off.

Q: Once you have received my timesheet, how long will it take to raise the related invoice to my agency?

A: As soon as possible, and no longer than two working days.

Q: How do you send the invoice to my agency?

A: This is sent by fax, email or post.

Banking / Payments

Q: I just arrived in the country and need some additional money - can I get paid now?

A: Yes, an advance can be arranged once we receive the contract, invoice and timesheet but only for the purpose of helping people establish themselves as contractors. We charge a nominal fee of 2% with this service being entirely at the company’s discretion.

Q: Does Kinetic process transfers to any country in the world?

A: Yes, as Luxembourg is a central finance hub we are able to send funds anywhere, globally.

Q: Once you have the funds from my agency, how quickly do I get paid?

A: Within two working days of receipt of funds from the agency, though this is also dependent on the agency’s payment terms.


Q: Do you provide Professional Liability Insurance?

A: Yes, with a no-charge benefit extended to all contractors working with Kinetic.

Q: What kind of management fee is charged to its contractors?

A: Management fees are bespoke to each contractor’s chosen solution, and so are also cost effective.
